I might just pay that much for good chowder. Best fish and chips I ever had was somewhere in BC while waiting for a ferry. It was about 30 years ago, and while I don’t remember the place, I remember the food. It came from a little shop on the pier. Damn, that was good.

May I ask which ferry? I take the one from new London to orient point, NY quite often and I try to make sure I have a couple beers and food packed for the journey. The times where I forgot, I learned that beer is only served once the boat starts moving and not when I get on ~30 minutes before launch.
